Studi Kasus Pola Asuh Orang Tua terhadap Keterlambatan Berbicara Anak Usia Dini Kelompok A di RA Al Hidayah Klorogan Geger Madiun

Abstract: One of the important aspects of growth and development of early childhood is the ability to speak. Facts in the field have been found that there are children who experience speech delays. One of the contributing factors is inappropriate parenting patterns. The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the parenting patterns of parents towards children who experience speech delays, 2) to determine the factors that influence speech delays, and 3) to determine the role of parents in overcoming speech delays in early childhood at RA Al Hidayah Klorogan Geger Madiun. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology. Data collection methods are documentation, interviews, and observation. The steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from ideas from Miles and Huberman are followed by data analysis techniques. The subjects of the study were early childhood children in group A RA Al Hidayah, Klorogan Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency, teachers and parents. The results of this study are: 1) parenting patterns of parents towards speech delays in early childhood include, permissive parenting patterns, democratic parenting patterns, and authoritarian parenting patterns, 2) factors that influence speech delays in early childhood include: male gender, maternal education, birth order and number of children with, socio-economic status and nervous disorders, and excessive use of gadgets without time limits and parental guidance 3) the role of parents towards speech delays in early childhood, namely: as a dual language stimulator (mother and father), as a facilitator of speaking opportunities in an intact family, as a complementary language model, and as a builder of self-confidence and communicative character.
Abstrak: Salah satu aspek penting pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia dini adalah kemampuan berbicara. Fakta di lapangan telah ditemukan terdapat anak yang mengalami keterlambatan berbicara. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah pola asuh orang tua yang kurang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) mengetahui pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak yang mengalami keterlambatan dalam berbicara, 2) mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlambatan berbicara, dan 3) mengetahui peran orang tua mengatasi keterlambatan berbicara anak usia dini di RA Al Hidayah Klorogan Geger Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulakan data adalah dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dari gagasan dari Miles dan Huberman diikuti dengan teknik analisis data. Subjek penelitian yaitu anak usia dini kelompok A RA Al Hidayah Desa Klorogan Kec. Geger Kab. Madiun, guru dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) pola asuh orang tua terhadap keterlambatan berbicara anak usia dini meliputi, pola asuh permisif, pola asuh demokratis, dan pola asuh otoriter, 2) faktor yang mempengarui keterlambatan berbicara anak usia dini, meliputi: jenis kelamin laki-laki, pendidikan ibu, urutan lahir dan besarnya jumlah anak dengan, status ekonomi sosial dan gangguan saraf, dan penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan tanpa adanya batasan waktu dan pendampingan orang tua 3) peran orang tua terhadap keterlambatan berbicara anak usia dini yaitu: sebagai stimulator bahasa ganda (ibu dan ayah), sebagai fasilitator kesempatan berbicara dalam keluarga utuh, sebagai model bahasa komplementer, dan sebagai pembentuk kepercayaan diri dan karakter komunikatif.
